"My approach to patient care is personalized and compassionate — I adapt my treatment to each animal’s comfort, behavior, and individual needs."
Professional Background
  • What is your primary area of veterinary expertise?
Junior Veterinarian — Anesthesia & Analgesia, Inpatient Care, Parasitology
  • How many years of experience do you have in veterinary practice?
    2 years
  • Have you pursued any specialised training or certifications?
Yes — Basic Oncology seminar (PDHI Bali), Vetafora webinars on general practice. Currently self-studying Anesthesia, Inpatient Care & Parasitology through online vet resources.
  • What types of animals do you have expertise in treating, and are there specific species you are particularly skilled with or passionate about caring for?
Primarily experienced in treating small companion animals, specifically dogs and cats. I’m passionate about providing compassionate care, especially for hospitalized and surgical patients.
Patient Care Approach
  • How would you describe your approach to patient care and client communication?
My approach to patient care is personalized and compassionate. I adjust how I treat each animal based on their behavior, comfort, and needs. I focus on pain management and always try to keep patients as comfortable as possible, especially during recovery.
For client communication, I aim to be clear and honest. I explain medical terms in simple language and make sure owners feel supported. If I don’t know something, I’m always willing to learn more so I can give the best care possible.
  • What strategies do you use to ensure a positive and comfortable experience for both pets and their owners?
To ensure a positive and comfortable experience for both pets and their owners, I focus on gentle, low-stress handling and attentive care tailored to each patient’s needs. For owners, I prioritize transparent and empathetic communication. I believe in collaborative care—working together with clients through clear explanations, shared decision-making, and mutual trust.
Special Interests and Focus Areas
  • Do you have specific interests or focus areas within veterinary medicine (e.g., surgery, dentistry, preventive care)?
Yes, I’m particularly interested in anesthesia and analgesia, inpatient care, and clinical pathology. I especially enjoy examining diagnostic samples under the microscope. I’m also building experience in preventive care such as vaccinations and routine health checks, and I look forward to expanding my role in these areas.
  • Are there particular cases or conditions that you find especially rewarding to work on?
I find it rewarding to be involved in patient care during their treatment and follow-up visits, especially when I can see their condition improve over time. I also find anesthesia cases fulfilling—particularly during surgery, where I’m responsible for monitoring and maintaining stable vitals like blood pressure and oxygenation. I’ve experienced moments where a patient stopped breathing and had to act quickly. These situations are intense but meaningful, and I enjoy the focus and responsibility they require.
Client Interaction and Education
  • How do you educate and involve pet owners in the care and well-being of their animals?
I aim to keep pet owners well-informed by explaining medical information in simple, clear language. I involve them in the decision-making process and encourage questions to make sure they feel confident about their pet’s care. If there’s something I don’t know, I’m always open to learning more so I can give accurate and updated information.
  • What advice do you commonly provide to pet owners for maintaining their pets' health?
Prevention is always better than cure. Routine care—such as deworming, parasite prevention, dental hygiene, and good nutrition—may seem costly at first, but it helps avoid more serious and expensive treatments later. Since animals can’t communicate their pain, giving them proper care before they get sick is essential. Responsible pet ownership means not only loving them, but also ensuring their health and well-being as part of the family.
